It may feel weird to think your dog would love, a crate.
Tobby used to be very nervous most of the time, not even being tired was able to be quiet for a single minute in a single place. He loves open spaces and it was counterintuitive to believe that a crate could be what he neede to get relaxed.
Wood is ideal, it emulates better natural conditions. Tobby is mixed, when was a puppy we couldn’t imagine how big he has become.

We don’t currently have dogs in our lives, (just recently), and we are planning a big move in a couple of months so we will wait until that happens and then, perhaps will see about getting another.
With that in mind, we have been looking to change up some of our habits regarding where our new child might sleep and the bed is not going to be an option (we hope 😉).
These crates look like a great option whether for the living room or even as a night table for the bedroom. The design and inclusion of natural wood really makes them look like regular furniture. I haven’t seen this type of dog crate where we live only wire and plastic.
I quite like the looks of all of these but the Zoovilla Dog Crate would probably be our choice as it matches some of the furnishings we already have.
The only drawback would be the price. Your, I’m presuming, British Pounds would translate into over $400 CAD (including shipping plus whatever the exchange rate might be), which for us is a little pricy being retired and all.
Are you connected with Amazon in Canada by any chance? I had a look and that would be a better alternative for us as the one we like is only $258+ and shipping is free.
I really like these and I’m not just saying that. They are much better looking than a wire or cloth cage.
