Puppod Review – An Amazing Smart Product For Dogs

The PupPod device is a puzzle toy that is connected via an app to your smartphone. As your dog gets smarter this smart device, also gets smarter.

The game uses lights, sounds, and timing to increase difficulty. Sounds can be used for blind dogs and the lights for deaf dogs. Your pet earns treats from the feeder by touching the device at the correct time.

Games and challenges are simple at the start, but the difficulty increases so as to keep your dog motivated and thinking. Motion sensors are utilized in the beginning, as your pet is rewarded for sniffing the Puppod wobbler, but naturally, the challenges get harder.

It teaches your pet:

  • Increased concentration.

  1. Great post and good info.

This seems to be perfect for Sammy, but I have one question.

Is this for young dogs, puppies or for older dogs? Sammy is 4 years old, so I hope this can be suitable for him.

Thanks a lot for sharing, and I’ll be waiting for your answer, I hope it is positive

I agree with you about helping dogs with obesity, as it seems to be a major problem now with dog owners. Obesity brings many health problems and anything to help is a blessing.

  3. All I can say is wow! My elder brother will certainly love this toy. He is a dog breeder and is madly in love with his dogs. The last time I visited him, he talked about the idea of getting something to exercise his dogs, especially the very large and docile Caucasian shepherd.

All he does is try to play ball with the dog, but he seems to get uninterested after a short while. This will be the perfect toy to get it more agile and alert. I’ve sent your page link to him. I’m glad I found your blog.

  4. Wow this is a very good device. I will like to get one for my dog at home. At least to keep it busy and help and help increase its mental capacity.

However I don’t know if the continues use of the device can make a dog become very aggressive toward people.

Thank you for posting to the content.

In answer to your question, it should lessen behaviour problems, as boredom appears to contribute to this issue. It’s the same as your dog not getting a walk, it gets frustrated and has pent up energy to burn, which usually manifests in problems with behaviour

  5. Hi! I didn’t know about these toys for our dogs until this year. And I really like the idea. It seems so cool to make our dog think, LOL. I like the fact that it has different levels of difficulty and it gets harder as our dog discovers how to solve each challenge. It would be fun to see our dog progress. We usually only pay attention to the physical aspects of our dog, but neglect this aspect.
